Favorite Reference Books:
This book is great for learning more about Greek Mythology. It features a lot of art from the Ancient Greeks and throughout history featuring myths. It is separated by sources, origin myth, Olympians, Heroes, Family sagas, landscapes, myths after the Greeks, and contains a lot of maps, timelines, and family trees. This was a textbook for one of my Classics class and I enjoyed it very much!

Favorite Middle Grade Books:
Rick Riordan did a fantastic job combining myth and modern story telling for a middle grade audience (or teen and adult as well—I love this series). Although it was written for younger teens/older children, this series deals with important topics that many can relate with. I love that he made this series for his kid who dealt with dyslexia starting out and then wrote it down for other people to have a character they could relate too. I highly recommend all his series!

Favorite Young Adult Books:
I really enjoyed this series! I loved how Andrews combined a lot of different myths and made it her own. Every character or scene I came across I got giddy knowing the reference Andrews was making. It was a breath of fresh air compared to just a retelling (which I love as well!).

Favorite Fiction Books:
Dionysus is one of my favorite gods, so I was quick to pick up this book and read it! I actually read it when I was in London and visiting the Minoan exhibit at Oxford, so it was very cool to physically see the artifacts of the time when this story was supposed to take place. It is definitely an adult novel and deals with serious themes (as does Greek Mythology in general) but I highly recommend to anyone who loves Ariadne, Dionysus, the Minotaur, Theseus, or Minoan society in general.

Favorite Romance Books:
This series is so magical—I absolutely love it! This is very much an enemies to lovers spicy romance and has grumpy-sunshine and touch-her-and-you-will-pay vibes. Again, it is very spicy, so adults only for this book. I also loved the world building in this series. I would very much want to live in New Athens.
